Heather Dixon![]() |
Heather is the CEO, so to speak, of Buffa Clare Productions. Currently, she is a student at Missouri State University, majoring in Digital Film Production and minoring in Asian Studies. After 4 years at MSU, her dream is to go to the New York Film Academy for a year. But that is a very pricey dream, and time will tell on that one. Heather has acted in every film under the Buffa Clare label and had a small role this summer in Blake Carlile's film Vanilla Villa (2007). The directing chair is no stranger to her either, having directed Bullets & Mascara and co-directed Blood on the Glass Slipper with partner-in-crime Joseph Trione. She and Trione are currently working on a third film to be filmed late '07, early '08. |
Joseph Trione![]() |
Joseph Trione, 19, has always had a love for film. As a child he wanted to do special effects for horror films but it wasn’t until his parents bought him an old VHS camcorder in Christmas '00 that Joe decided he wanted to be a screenwriter/director. Since the age of 12, Joe has made dozens of short films, both finished and unfinished, and has written two full length screenplays: The Torn Photo (a mystery/thriller) and Candy & Co. (an exploitation flick). Joseph has also acted in both Bullets & Mascara and Blood on the Glass Slipper for Buffa Clare Productions. He is known for playing very over the top characters, acting in drag, and getting killed off in very bloody ways. On top of acting he also helps with special effects, lighting, and filming. He co-directed Blood on the Glass Slipper with Heather Dixon and wrote the first draft of their upcoming untitled film. To see his old & new films, head on over to the JMT section of the site! |
Travis
Gibson![]() |
Travis Gibson has lived in Rolla, MO since the 1st grade, and is doomed to stay there for the remainder of his life. He is currently going to the University of Missouri Rolla (UMR)/Missouri University of Science and Technology (MUST) for a major in Chemistry. He has done a hand full of martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do and (his favorite) Youn Wha Ryu. Travis started this film [Bullets & Mascara] not knowing what he was in for, but soon enjoyed every passing minute of it. He really enjoyed the two hot girls doing EVERYTHING he told them to do. ;-) |
Jessica Cox![]() |
Actor, writer, and occasional cosmonaut, Jessica Cox is a multifaceted individual who has been lending her talents to Joseph Trione since 2002. Recently, she has begun working with Buffa Clare Production as an independent actress, and is seen in the film Blood on the Glass Slipper. A childhood love for acting and a fierce determination to be a part of creative adventures makes her a valuable asset to the team. Armed with a mighty vocabulary and an extensive closet, she hopes to become a more integral part of Buffa Clare Productions in the future. |
Gary Weidemann![]() |
Mr. Gary Weidemann, 18, has been writing (and sometimes filming) movies with his friend and accomplice Mr. Aaron Holt for about three years now. Some of their work includes the films Yackity Yack, Kill Phil (a parody of Kill Bill), and screenplays for Turbine Composers and Over the Line. Their crowning achievement, Where’s the Mayo?, should be filmed this winter. They are noted for their Fargo-esque method of killing characters off. Gary will also be working behind the scenes on Buffa Clare Productions untitled film which also begins filming in late December. Weidemann is quoted as saying, “We once tried to write a film where no one died at all. The first scene was a man being shot to death.” |
Beth Alphonse ![]() |
Elizabeth Alphonse has appeared in dozens of short films made by Joseph Trione since early 2002. Her first film, It’s You, is something that all involved would like to forget about. Since that first film, Beth has been a prominent figure in Trione’s work. Although on a strict time schedule, Alphonse was able to help out on Buffa Clare Production’s Bullets & Mascara as Tuesday Critz’s stand-in. Wanting to be more involved with the company, be sure to look out for more appearances by Alphonse in the future. Aside from acting in front of the camera, Beth loves working in front of an audience. She has been apart of numerous school plays and productions. |
Tuesday Critz ![]() |
Tuesday Critz, an avid rock climber, has been an active member in Buffa Clare Productions since her involvement in 2006’s Bullets & Mascara. Besides helping with the story, Critz took part in acting and costuming. When it comes to future projects, Buffa Clare Productions hopes to see Critz involved with the company as much as possible. Her dream man is tall, dark, handsome, reads Jane Austen novels, loves art history, and is a vegetarian. If you exist, give her a call. |
Blake Carlile ![]() |
Blake is the shit. That's all he had to say. |
